Do partners need CRM access to create quotes?

No. Partners create quotes from the shared deal in their partner experience, with no CRM seat or login required. They use your CRM templates and catalog, and the quote syncs back to the deal, but they never get access to your CRM itself.

How do I make sure partners can’t change my pricing?

Products, SKUs, and prices pull directly from your CRM catalog, so quotes start from your real pricing by default. Line item editing is a toggle you control per experience. If you turn it off, partners can build quotes but can’t change the numbers. If you turn it on, edits will sync back so you always see what was proposed.

What can I control about partner quoting?

Per experience, you toggle Show Line Items, Edit Line Items, Show Quotes, and Allow Partners to Create Quotes. You also set the quote template, whether a signature is required, whether payment is collected, and the expiration date. Partners work inside whatever guardrails you define.

Does the quote sync back to my CRM?

Yes. Every published quote and every allowed line item edit syncs back to the deal record in your CRM. The deal stays accurate and up to date without anyone re-entering data, so there is never a quote sitting in a side tool that your CRM doesn’t know about.
